Is my service guaranteed?

Yes. Customers should benefit from our Pest Control & Fertilizing Services, which means we’ll schedule a service call or follow up visit to your property as needed between scheduled visits to make necessary adjustments and ensure your satisfaction.

When can families and pets return to serviced areas?

After a service, We advise customers to allow the application to dry before families and pets resume enjoying their lawns & inside their homes. A lawn will normally be dry 1-2 hours after treatment, but low temperatures, high humidity, etc… will increase the amount of time needed for the treatment to dry. Morning applications will dry when the dew dries. Inside treatments will usually dry in about an hour or so. Please DO NOT mop or clean up treated areas after treatment, that will defeat the treatments.

What is the length of time between applications?

Applications are applied every 4-8 weeks depending on your program. We offer Monthly, Bi-Monthly, Quarterly and One-Time Services. Weather or the type of insects you have can also be a factor in when we should apply.

Will my services continue automatically year after year?

In most cases, your program continues year after year unless a customer advises us to discontinue. Customers find that continuing the program from season to season and year to year is the best way to maintain the lawns appearance and keep insect problems under control. It also allows us to care for your property at the best time for the best results.

Should I water my lawn before or after an application?

You should water your lawn 24-48 hours after an application. If it doesn't rain within 48 hours after our visit, please water your lawn to help achieve optimal results from our lawn application. Not all fertilizers and pesticides need to be watered in.

Are your products safely applied?

When should I expect to see results?

If weeds are present on your lawn, you may notice visible results from weed dieback and color within a few weeks of your first visit. Depending on the condition of your lawn, it can take time to have a great lawn. Some damage can take months to fill in and recover. Usually within 2-3 applications (4-6 months), you will see significant results. Inside pests typically take 10-14 days to control after treatments. It takes time to allow the insects to spread our products to each other, passing it on by grooming & feeding habits.

What are some lawn watering tips?

Your lawn usually requires 1” of water per week, depending on factors like:  temperature, humidity, rainfall amounts, shade or sun. We recommend watering your lawns 2 times per week for 30-45 minutes, depending on the factors above. For best results water early in the morning. At midday, more water evaporates than goes into the soil. Evening watering invites trouble because plants that stay wet overnight can be more prone to developing certain diseases that thrive in moist conditions. Shrubs require much less water than grass, usually 2 times a week for 10-15 minutes.

Does Well’s Termite & Pest Control use dry granular or liquid materials when treating my lawn?

We use both dry and liquid materials depending on the time of year and what is best for your lawn.
